Margery's Note....
Wow! October was a month of big changes….
All that talk about letting go of things and breaking old patterns had an effect!
I consciously committed to breaking some habits….
And some patterns were broken for me by circumstances out of my control….
When done for you, it can come as a shock….
And when the shock starts to wear off, we need to figure out where we go from here….
Not the first time, and it probably won’t be the last time….
So we go back again to our inner voice, listen, rethink things, and come up with new plans….
- Reminds me to expect the unexpected….
- And find ways to be grateful for what is, no matter what it is….
- How can we be more self-reliant?
- Which is more important — what you think or what others think?
- Change can bring growth or it can make you withdraw in fear….
- Which way do you choose?
- It is truly challenging to find good in what seem to be really sad and/or difficult situations. But we can grow from the, when we choose to….

Introducing Tula Walter Jude Hyndman — new daughter
Of Maggie Ong’ele (one of our former beloved GGN Members)
Who moved to Kenya last year with husband Pete Hyndman
And had a beautiful baby on Monday, October 24. Mom and baby are doing great.
We miss Maggie but so glad she is loving living in her native country.

GGN Member Laura Kopec
Is moving to a new office!!!
beginning in November and this means the return of in person appointments. Her new location is located at 2301 Ohio Drive, Plano Suite 200.
Laura is excited for this new venture expanding her practice, expanding her services and welcoming new practitioners into her wellness center.
Make sure you email Laura at [email protected] to get on her monthly newsletter with all the updates, including a December open house she will host to welcome the new space.
Track Meetings
For now we are adding the Zoom option back along with meeting at my (Margery’s) house.
We still ask for $5 to cover costs if you attend in person. Zoom is FREE! And yes, you can register at the last minute….
Our Track meetings are designed to give us a sacred space to have meaningful, purposeful conversations without fear of being judged or competed with. Only Members can attend. They are amazing experiences, unlike any ‘networking meeting’ you have ever attended!
GGN members MUST REGISTER to attend these meetings, so just follow the links below! And if you want to learn about us, go ahead and join GGN~~if you decide it isn’t for you, we will refund your membership fee!
Each one is an event or happening in itself. Some members come frequently, some come only once in a while. Whenever you attend one, you will find out things you didn’t know, connect with women who will challenge and inspire you, and you will leave with some new perspectives.

- We moved this meeting to the last Wednesday of the month due to the Thanksgiving holiday. We’ll all be ready to talk about anything and everything that we are learning about, maybe family issues? New things and work? So much to share!!!

Great Girls Network is our way of being the opposite of the Good Ol’ Boys Network (which is still very much alive and well!). Even if you don’t participate in Track meetings, your membership gives you a way to support our existence and be a part of a growing group of women who really appreciate each other. And the Trii-Annual Gatherings are unlike any other “networking” event! We know women don’t network like men. We want to build relationships, we want deeper, more meaningful connections. That is exactly what GGN provides.
Our membership fee of $50 per year gives you access to our Track Meetings and also contributions to our Newsletter. The fee helps sustain our website, but it also ensures that when you participate in a Track meeting, you will honor the sacredness of the conversations because you are a member.
