Our Amazing Spring Gathering!
Not only did we have a great turnout for our Spring Gathering, we have added 12 NEW members since then!! Our format this time made a real difference.
First, we asked Toni Portmann (see her speaking above) to talk for a few minutes about what helps women be successful in the workplace. From there we created a mock Track meeting, expecting a small group to participate. Instead, all the women gathered around the smaller group chimed in and shared their thoughts. It was truly a warm, encouraging and inspiring experience.
The whole room was fully engaged in the conversation. And we had a genuine breakthrough moment when one woman completely grasped a new way to talk about her business. She was so blown away by the experience, she joined that night!

I was referred to a Great Girls Network event by a good friend of mine. I decided to check it out for the networking opportunities. Upon arriving, I could tell right away that this was different than any other networking event I had attended. The room was comprised of a variety of women of different ages, races, and professions. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, something I especially appreciated since I had come to the event on my own. I was ultimately drawn to become an official member when I saw it was an organization that really emphasized creating meaningful relationships. In today’s busy and competitive landscape, it is very refreshing to be part of a community of women that motivates, encourages, and uplifts one another.

Great Girls Network is our way of being the opposite of the Good Ol’ Boys Network (which is still very much alive and well!). Even if you don’t participate in Track meetings, your membership gives you a way to support our existence and be a part of a growing group of women who really appreciate each other. And the Trii-Annual Gatherings are unlike any other “networking” event! We know women don’t network like men. We want to build relationships, we want deeper, more meaningful connections. That is exactly what GGN provides.
Our membership fee of $50 per year gives you access to our Track Meetings and also contributions to our Newsletter. The fee helps sustain our website, but it also ensures that when you participate in a Track meeting, you will honor the sacredness of the conversations because you are a member.
