March 2025 Newsletter + Track Meetings for GGN Members

Margery's Note....
Yes, things to seem to get getting even more chaotic….
And I am fully committed to not let fear cloud my thinking!
I had an epiphany recently that might be helpful to share….
Being a very conscientious person, who cares about many people, I frequently find myself remembering things that happened, and let myself feel some regret that I didn’t handle situations better….
Suddenly I realized that a bit of that is fine, to keep myself moving forward with integrity….
And too much of it really gets in the way of allowing myself to be truly human and appreciating it!!!
Do I spend the same amount of energy recognizing the things I’m glad I did? The things I have accomplished in life?
Being a Human Adult requires honesty with ourselves, willingness to keep going in a meaningful direction for each of us. It isn’t our business how others do that….
But it is our business to live a life based on the truth as we understand it….
And the truth is, I have so much to be glad about, I have made some really good decisions in my life, and I can be grateful for them!
So I’ve decided that I choose to spend more time on those aspects of my history than letting little regrets pile up and cloud my vision. When they do pop up, I can acknowledge them and LET THEM GO!!!!!
And get back to the business of being the best Margery I can be!
Does this spark any ideas for you???

Small Steps or Big Leaps: Finding the Right Move as a Leader
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” – Lao Tzu
Progress comes in many forms. Sometimes, it’s the slow and steady march of small steps. Other times, it’s the adrenaline-fueled exhilaration of a big leap. But when do you take it slow, and when do you just go for it? Let’s break it down.
What Are We Talking About?
Small Steps: These are the incremental actions that build momentum over time—think baby steps, checklists, and that satisfying feeling of crossing items off your to-do list. They are practical, lead to steady progress, and reduce overwhelm.
Example: Training a new hire one task at a time so they don’t get overwhelmed –or quit on Day 3.
Big Leaps: These are bold, all-in moves that change the game. They’re riskier and often require a level of courage (or caffeine) you didn’t know you had.
Example: Reorganizing your entire team because “the way we’ve always done it” isn’t working.
Both have their place. But how do you decide which one is right for the moment?
The Case for Small Steps: Consistency Wins
Small steps are the unsung heroes of progress. They don’t get the flashy headlines, but they build foundations that last.
Why Small Steps Work:
- Builds Momentum: One small action leads to another.
- Minimizes Risk: It’s easier to adjust course when needed.
- Creates Confidence: Progress reinforces capability.

Honoring the Goddess Within
Somewhere within us lies a Goddess – a woman who is ready to explore what’s possible!
It’s easy to forget ourselves in the constant rush of responsibilities, but that powerful, intuitive, and radiant woman is still in you.
That’s why I created the Honoring the Goddess Within Circles—a sacred gathering designed to help you step away from the noise of daily life and into your power. More about Honoring the Goddess Within:
Honoring the Goddess Within: Reclaiming Your Power
1. Awaken the Goddess Within You
In the constant rush of responsibilities, it’s easy to forget the powerful, intuitive, and radiant woman you truly are. But within you lies a goddess—strong, wise, and deeply connected to her purpose. Honoring her isn’t about becoming someone new; it’s about rediscovering what has always been there.
2. What It Means to Embody the Goddess
A goddess isn’t defined by appearance or perfection–she is a woman who is ready to explore whats possible:
Moves with confidence and trusts her instincts.
Honors her emotions and sess them as a source of wisdom.
Prioritizes joy and self-care without guilt.
Creates space for reflection and personal growth.
Surrounds herself with support and meaningful connections.
Yet, embodying this energy isn’t always easy. It requires intention, self-awareness, and sometimes, the encouragement of a sacred space where you feel seen, heard, and celebrated.
3. A Space to Reconnect and Rise
That’s why I created the Honoring the Goddess Within Circle–a sacred gathering designed to help you step away from the noise of daily life and into your power.
Through guided reflection, meditation, and connection, eash session invites you to release what no longer serves you and embrace your inner wisdom. Whether you attend one circle or all five, you’ll leave feeling refreshed, inspired, and deeply rooted in your own strength.
4. Small Rituals to Embody Your Goddess Energy Today
Morning Power Affirmation:
Start your day with a phrase that makes you feel strong (e.g., I am worthy. I am powerful. I trust myself.)
Mindful Adornment
Choose clothing, jewelry, or even a fragrance that makes you feel empowered.
Sacred Stillness: Take five minutes of quiet each day to listen to your intuition.
The journey to honoring you goddess within is yours to take. Whether through small daily rituals or joining a circle of like-minded women, the most important step is simply beginning.
GGN Member Jane Baldwin shares another free online workshop
Uncover the hidden map to your inner calm
Ever feel like you’re deep in the jungle of life, tangled in commitments, unsure of the next step, or weighed down by the sense that you’re not doing enough? You’re not alone.
Here’s what that might look like:
Being overwhelmed by commitments
Having so much to do, you don’t know where to start
Struggling to relax after an illness
That lurking feeling that you’re not doing enough
Not knowing how to prioritize what truly matters
Can’t think of one thing to appreciate about yourself
If any of this feels familiar, I invite you to Lost in the Jungle — Map Your Way to Center with the Unwinding Compass, A FREE 60-minute online workshop on March 6
This isn’t just about mindfulness as a concept or just another tool for your tool kit.
The Unwinding Compass isn’t about giving you more to do—it’s about helping you integrate what already exists within you. Instead of being another technique to practice, it becomes a way to navigate daily life with more ease and awareness.

Track Meetings
We still ask for $5 to cover costs. And yes, you can register at the last minute…. but it would be GREAT if you let us know a couple of days before so we can plan our refreshments!!!
Our Track meetings are designed to give us a sacred space to have meaningful, purposeful conversations without fear of being judged or competed with. Only Members can attend. They are amazing experiences, unlike any ‘networking meeting’ you have ever attended!
GGN members MUST REGISTER to attend these meetings, so just follow the links below! And if you want to learn about us, go ahead and join GGN~~if you decide it isn’t for you, we will refund your membership fee!
Currently we meet the 2nd Monday morning and 3rd Wednesday evening of each month (see below).
Each one is an event or happening in itself. Some members come frequently, some come only once in a while. Whenever you attend one, you will find out things you didn’t know, connect with women who will challenge and inspire you, and you will leave with some new perspectives.

Great Girls Network is our way of being the opposite of the Good Ol’ Boys Network (which is still very much alive and well!). Even if you don’t participate in Track meetings, your membership gives you a way to support our existence and be a part of a growing group of women who really appreciate each other. And the Trii-Annual Gatherings are unlike any other “networking” event! We know women don’t network like men. We want to build relationships, we want deeper, more meaningful connections. That is exactly what GGN provides.
Our membership fee of $50 per year gives you access to our Track Meetings and also contributions to our Newsletter. The fee helps sustain our website, but it also ensures that when you participate in a Track meeting, you will honor the sacredness of the conversations because you are a member.
We created a digital card that helps people understand what they can get from joining GGN so click here to see the card.
Your membership helps give us that foundation, the strength to grow and have an impact on the lives of so many more women.
Great Girls Are Amazing Women!!! Thank You!!!
